CHAIRMAN MESSAGE

We are in era where traditional Indian arts and theatre need to be showcased abd promoted to make them accessible to a burgeoning new audience. CSNA had organized various programmes of Music, Dance & Theatre during its tenure, To bring International 7 national groups/ teams engaged in musical dancing & theatrical productions un the city beautiful was an herculean task. Yet we could call many peputed terms / groups & organize their performances for the educated & art-loving audiences of the Tri-city during our term....

- Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi under cultural exchange program presents the folk colors of Rajasthan in a 4 Days Rajasthan Folk Festival commencing from 26th June upto 29th June at Rani Laksmibai Mahila Bhawan Sector 38-C, Chandigarh.

- Punjabi Folk Dance Workshop by Sh. Gurpreet Singh Plaha at CSNA Office gallery at 4.00 PM to 6.00 PM

-All the artists (budding artists, juniors, seniors, veterans and all, from any art field) are requested to send their complete biodata at the email of CSNA, which is csnachd@gmail.com; to enable us to create a repository of all of you. A directory of all the artists will be published later on. All the artists of Tricity Chandigarh are informed that the last date to apply for CSNA Kala Puruskar is approaching fast. It is 31st of May 2025. You are requested to apply at the earliest to avoid the rush at the office of CSNA.
